LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a client in the Boston, MA area. This direct hire hybrid role involves project leadership, planning, designing, and post-design for various facilities projects such as transit terminals, maintenance facilities, municipalities buildings, public work facilities, correctional facilities, educational environments, and commercial settings.

PE IS REQUIRED. Ideal candidates will possess 5-10 years of experience in civil infrastructure power, lighting, and fire alarm systems, conducting short circuit analysis, and proficiency in Arc Flash Analysis. Strong skills in Revit and AutoCAD, report compilation, data analysis, and proposal writing are also necessary. Candidates should hold a minimum of 5 years of experience with a BS in Electrical Engineering.

Salary range: $73,000 to $95,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

Implement and enhance processes and systems.
Create, develop, produce, and test electrical systems.
Design, implement, and budget for projects and system enhancements.
Communicate effectively and professionally with management.
Utilize Revit and/or AutoCAD for design purposes.
Design power, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
Establish priorities and tasks for team members.
Specify electrical equipment and perform necessary calculations.
Conduct short circuit analysis and protective device coordination studies.
Conduct Arc Flash Analysis.
Use Micro Office Suite for reporting.
Create proposals and provide mentoring.
Support other engineers on projects as required.

Requirements:

Degree in Electrical Engineering.
5 years of relevant experience.
Expertise in Arc Flash Analysis, Revit, and AutoCAD.
Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and design thinking skills.
Minimum 5 years of management experience leading engineering teams.
