    Techstaff has a part-time Supply Clerk position with a government agency to receive, record, store, take inventory and provide issuance of materials and supplies to departmental representatives.

    • Solicits quotations in accordance with established procedures to ensure materials are purchased at the lowest cost consistent with established specifications. Prepares requisitions for materials and supplies whose cost exceed established dollar thresholds.
    • Inspects the quality and quantity of received goods; accepts or rejects as necessary
    • Operates computers in order to input inventory data; maintains accurate inventory database.
    • Receives, completes and/or submits records and documents including work orders, invoices, delivery/packing slips, receiving reports, price quotations and general office correspondence.
    • Processes stores requisitions.
    • Performs radio and telephone communications as needed.
    • Utilizes various types of equipment and tools such as computer, copier, two-way radio, pick-up truck and materials handling equipment.
    • Works within Financial/Purchasing policies and procedures to ensure store room/inventory procedures are consistent with City policies.
    • Maintains security of stockroom.
    • Performs annual inventory.
    • Forklift experience is a plus

    The work schedule can be flexible,20-25 hours per week (mornings, afternoons, 2-1/2 days per week, etc.). We anticipate this assignment will last 3-5 months.
