Position SummaryThe IT Support Specialist role is vital for maintaining our IT operations, providing daily technical support to our team. Based in Bellevue, WA, you'll work closely with all departments, including occasional travel to Seattle, Bellingham, and Spokane offices (5-10%).

Responsibilities

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Offer initial technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with various devices.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining IT equipment and applications.
User Assistance and Training:
- Address help desk requests promptly, documenting all issues and solutions.
- Provide user training on IT systems and applications, updating manuals as needed.
- Manage IT needs for new and terminated employees, troubleshoot equipment, and oversee conferencing setups.
System and Network Maintenance:
- Help monitor and maintain computer systems and networks for optimal performance.
- Aid in managing network infrastructure, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Support IT Manager and Director of Technology on projects.
- Collaborate with other departments to address their IT requirements.
- Communicate effectively with team members and users, ensuring quick help desk responses.
Security and Compliance:
- Support IT security policies and procedures implementation and enforcement.
- Conduct regular security checks, report vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and common IT applications.
Solid understanding of computer hardware, software, and networks.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in teams, A+ certification is a plus.
