Description
We are seeking an experienced HR professional to plan, lead, direct and coordinate the policies and activities, develop HR strategies, provide leadership & guidance to all levels of the organization, and ensure legal compliance/labor regulations and implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy. This is a full-time on-site position in Aurora, IL with responsibilities and infrequent travel among the 10 branch locations in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
2. Manager the recruitment and selection process, including workforce planning and talent acquisition.
3. Oversee employee benefit programs and compensation analysis to ensure competitive packages.
4. Lead performance management processes, including coaching and performance improvement plans.
5. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, and procedures across the organization.
6. Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends, including reviewing reports and metrics from the organization's human resource information system (HRIS).
7. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices and review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Qualification:
1. Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Proven work experience as an HR Professional or similar executive role.
3. Strong understanding of labor legislation and employment practices.
4. Demonstrated experience in developing HR strategies and implementing HR programs.
5. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
6. HR Certification preferred.

1. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
2. Excellent problem-solving abilities.
3. Ability to work effectively under pressure.
4. Proficiency in HRIS (Paylocity) and MS Office Suite.
5. Strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
