    At Kid Explorer Clubs, we lead the way in Summer Enrichment - the pioneer of Sports Academic and Leadership Summer Club Programs. Our unrivaled curriculum, featuring LEGO Education and Rokenbok, two of the world's finest STEM Technology brands, along with our affiliations with 4-H Club and Maker Club, sets the standard for elite education and athletics training accessible to all children and our esteemed staff.

    STEM, Culinary Chemistry, Mathtopia, Arrow X- Archery, and diverse Reading Enrichment classes (inclusive of ESL/ELL, Dyslexia, LD) are just a glimpse of what we offer.     The Position:


    At Kid Explorer Clubs, our mission reverberates nationwide as we strive to enrich the lives of children through a dynamic and secure environment, fostering character and self-esteem simultaneously. As true Visionaries, our Program Leaders embody this mission, igniting the flame of passion within their team of dedicated Kid Explorer Clubs Counselors, propelling them to reach their full potential while working with children.

    Exemplifying unwavering dedication and integrity, our Program Leaders lead by example, providing honest, respectful, and constructive assessments to enhance the Cluber experience and promote professional growth. Their prowess in management is unmatched, creating an immensely enjoyable and supportive Club environment for both Clubers and staff alike.

    As the Club Program Leader, reporting directly to the Site Leader, they expertly manage staff, facility partners, and curriculum, ensuring the safety, joy, and emotional well-being of every Cluber. With meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to consistent, enriching instruction, they masterfully execute the program's curriculum.

    Not just exceptional managers, they are also empathetic, approachable leaders who hold their staff to the same high standards they uphold for themselves. Moreover, they embody the spirit of customer experience agents, pioneering innovative ways to provide Kid Explorer Clubs families with personalized feedback on their Clubers.

    In essence, our Program Leaders are the driving force behind our quest to shape young minds, unlocking their potential, and leaving an indelible mark on the lives of countless children across the nation.

    The Work:

    Pre-Club Season

    *Attend leadership training in latesummer.

    *Attend and help facilitate counselors' training series in late summer.

    *Participate in all requiredwebinars and online training series.

    • Master the programcurriculum and othermaterials, offering feedbackand adjustments that will improve the program.

    *Train counselors and juniorcounselors on curriculum, protocols and schedule.

    *Submit all required paperwork on time.

    Club Season

    *Ensure staff are preparedand motivated to execute the Kid ExplorerClubs curriculum, policies, and safety protocols with energy, integrity, and passion.

    *Build strong connections with staff and Clubers, takingpersonal responsibility for the

    well-being, enjoyment, and development of all programparticipants.

    *Serve as a role model for Clubers and staff in demonstrating positive attitudes, respectful communication, appropriate attire and grooming, and diligent work ethic.

    *Coach staff on how to execute activities and games, as well as various behavior management techniques and "tricks of the trade."Teach and re-teachthroughout the summer by hosting frequent morning training series.

    *Work as part of a team to foster a safe, fun, and supportive Club environment grounded upon Kid Explorer Club Summer Clubs' mission and values.

    *Implement Kid Explorer Clubs'traditions, games, policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

    *Maintain enthusiasm and focus throughout busy days during which you will supervise and participate in every aspect of programming including, but not limited to, recreational and instructional activities, art, science, projects, and programs, as well as lunchtime and carpool.

    *Play a vital role in the efficiency and safety of AM/PM carpools.

    *Evaluate each team member'sperformance and providewritten and verbal feedback.

    *Lead large group meetingson a daily basis.

    *Communicate respectfully, clearly, and kindly with all members of the Kid Explorer Clubs community, including fellow Club leadership, directreports and otherteam members, Clubers, and Clubers' families.

    *Prepare, organize, and set up/take down all programming areas.

    *Work in all weatherconditions.

    *Take responsibility for Clubers'belongings throughout Club day, holdingitems for safekeeping when necessary.

    *Meet and enforce Kid Explorer Clubs dress code and appearance requirements.

    *Keep an inventory of supplies for your programand alert the Site Leader and/or HQ when items are needed.

    *Call or meet with parents as requested by the Site Leader and/or HQ in order to provide customerconnection and relayimportant information on Cluber experience.

    *Participate in and help facilitate all required in-seasontraining series, webinars,and team meetings.

    *Attend all special events as assigned,interacting with familiesand assisting with set up/clean up.

    *Report any issue, question, or concern regarding the Clubers promptly to the Site Leader; notify appropriate on-site and/or HQ leadership immediately of any evidence of substance abuse, child abuse,child neglect, severemedical conditions, individuals appearing to be under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances around Clubers, or any other potentially dangerous conditions or situation.

    *Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior in working with Clubers, Clubers' families, fellowteam members, leadership, and facility partnerswhile upholding the Kid Explorer Clubs core values at all times.

    *Adhere to state law, Kid ExplorerClubs policies and procedures, and contractual obligations.

    *Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Kid Explorer Clubs leadership team and not otherwise prohibited by law or regulation.

    The Requirements:


    *At least 21 yearsof age.

    *An Associate's degree or equivalent educational experience minimum.

    *Minimum 3 years' experience teaching or workingwith children.

    *Minimum 1 year experience supervising and developing direct reports.

    • CPR/First Aid Certification, or ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification, background check and drug screening before August 31, 2023.

    *Preferred: Completion or pursuit of a degree in an education-related field.
