    Description

    **OB SUMMARY

    **

    The Material Handler will help with assembly as needed.

    The Material Handler will help with inspection activities as needed.

    The Material Handler will be heavily involved in inventory accuracy as part of our integration to a new Warehouse Management System.

    The Material Handler reports directly to the Operations Manager

    The Material Handler is the backup person for assembly.

    Other tasks as needed

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    **

    Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

    This position will require some lifting and candidate should be comfortable with moving up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

    On time every day

    Must be good with numbers and able to work with several part numbers at the same time.

    Forklift and/or standup skills preferred (we will train if necessary but MUST be able to certify within first 90 days)

    Matching paperwork to material in locations.

    Counting and verification of quantities

    Material Handler Job Description

    Are you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are currently seeking a Material Handler to join our team at our facility in Chino, CA, If you have a High School diploma or GED and experience in a manufacturing setting, we want to hear from you

    Overview

    • Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within the facility
    • Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all material handling processes
    • Maintain inventory control and perform cycle counts as needed
    • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times

    Responsibilities

    • Load and unload materials from trucks and move them to designated areas
    • Pick and pack orders for shipment
    • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
    • Keep work areas clean and organized

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or GED
    • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
    • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    You should be proficient in:

    • High School / GED
    • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

    Salary info:

    $ $16.50 / hr
