Position Summary


Material Handlers are responsible for shipping or receiving inventory and non-inventory goods within a specific area while maintaining the facility and inventories in an orderly condition.

They build strong relationships with peers, other departments, and managers to best meet company goals and objectives.

Distribution Center & Manufacturing Operations

  • Utilize RF scan gun to accurately complete warehouse functions.
  • Loads and unloads trailers/containers while performing visual count inspections and verification of products.
  • Utilize EWMS/SAP to process shipments and other warehouse tasks.
  • Ensures all compliance issues and special instructions are met.
  • Follow written customer specifications.
  • Perform multiple function including routine/repetitive test equipment. Create and print labels using software.
    Safety / Housekeeping
  • Operates equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
  • Ensures assigned areas of warehouse are clean and orderly and that inventory is in proper locations.
  • Participates and cooperates in all housekeeping requirements to ensure the facility is tour ready at all times.
  • Quality and Environmental Management Systems
  • Actively participates in the Quality Management Systems (ISO and Environmental Management Systems (ISO Actively participate in 5S program (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain)
    Relationship Management:Builds strong relationships with peers, other departments, and managers to best meet company goals and objectives.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Radio Frequency (RF) experience is preferred.
Ability to operate material handling equipment is a plus.
Ability to work overtime when needed.
Weight limitation 20-50lbs
