The salary range for this position is $17.00 to $21.00 per hour.

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and efficient Material Handler to join our manufacturing plant.

The Material Handler will be responsible for the timely and accurate handling of materials and components to support production operations.

This individual will play a vital role in ensuring that materials are delivered to the appropriate locations within the plant in accordance with production schedules and quality standards.

Essential Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming materials and components.
Safely operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to transport materials within the plant.
Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers using proper lifting and rigging techniques.
Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to ensure efficient flow and accessibility.
Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory records.
Prepare and package materials for shipment, including labeling, palletizing, and securing loads.
Collaborate with production personnel to prioritize material needs and ensure timely delivery to production lines.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures when handling materials and operating equipment.

Position Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent;
Previous experience in material handling or warehouse operations preferred.
Valid driver's license and forklift certification.
Ability to safety lift and ability to accurately record and document information.
Strong attention to detail and organizations skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
