The American Red Cross is currently seeking a Director of Development to support the Missouri and Arkansas Region. This is a hybrid work position and can be located anywhere in the region.
You will partner with Regional Chief Development Officer to drive a strong revenue and blood collection culture based on market-driven targets in order to strengthen and grow the donor base and the development program to meet assigned financial and blood collection goals.
This role will lead four Regional Philanthropy Officers and leadership volunteers in planning, managing, and implementing fundraising development strategies for assigned segment(s) of giving.
You will represent the region to cultivate corporate donors and sponsors to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and blood collection targets.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education:
Bachelor's degree required. An advanced degree is highly desirable.
Experience:
Minimum 7 years of sales/fundraising experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
Experience with increasing philanthropic revenue from diverse constituencies, developing and implementing broad-based fundraising programs, and knowledge of "best practices" in development.
A current valid driver's license and a good driving record is required.Management Experience : 5 years of management experience.
Travel:
Requires frequent travel within the Missouri and Arkansas Region. The amount will vary depending upon size and geography of region. Occasional travel within the Division may be required.

The salary range for this position
is:
$115,000-120,000
