- Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the real estate development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Project Management: Manage all aspects of the development process, including site selection, due diligence, entitlements, design, construction, leasing, and disposition.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to evaluate the viability of potential development projects and optimize investment returns.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including landowners, investors, lenders, government agencies, contractors, architects, and consultants.
- Market Research: Stay abreast of market trends, demographics, and economic indicators to identify market opportunities and inform decision-making.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and zoning requirements throughout the development process.
- Budget and Schedule Oversight: Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions as necessary to mitigate risks and achieve project goals.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management and stakeholders, communicating project status, milestones, and challenges effectively.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation and best practices in real estate development processes, seeking opportunities to optimize efficiency, sustainability, and value creation.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new development opportunities aligned with the company's strategic objectives, conducting market research, site evaluations, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in real estate development, with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
- Proven ability to manage complex development projects from concept to completion, including financial analysis, feasibility assessment, and risk management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of real estate development processes, including site selection, due diligence, entitlements, design, construction, and leasing.
- Familiarity with financial modeling, investment analysis, and valuation techniques.
- Understanding of market dynamics, trends, and regulatory requirements affecting the real estate industry.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Description
As the Director of Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our development projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for leading the development team, overseeing all aspects of the development process, and ensuring the successful execution of projects within budget and timeline constraints. Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company and lead efforts to identify and pursue new development opportunities.
