    Position Overview:

    Our banking client is seeking a highly experienced IT Delivery Lead with a focus on Data & Tools Delivery Projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in a banking or financial environment. This role is crucial for aligning strategic objectives with project execution, managing the complete delivery lifecycle, and ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Delivery Oversight:

    Collaborate with technology leaders, enterprise PMOs, and product management to align strategic objectives and roadmaps with assigned workstreams.

    Facilitate quarterly and annual planning focused on delivering business value as outlined in objectives and roadmaps.

    Advise technology leadership and drive the adoption of enterprise standards and best practices across the area of responsibility.

    Delivery Execution:

    Own the complete delivery lifecycle from initiation to completion.

    Be accountable for scope, roadmaps, and impediment management.

    Manage and govern the development and execution of assigned technology and enterprise projects/programs.

    Oversee and communicate the delivery of these programs, driving results to achieve business outcomes.

    Lead cross-functional development from design to delivery.

    Strategize, schedule, and align resources essential for executing large initiatives and programs, ensuring delivery of key business outcomes.

    Monitor progress and performance of initiatives and programs, examining outcomes to identify potential issues, risks, and areas of improvement.

    Communicate recommendations to relevant stakeholders through reports and other documentation.

    Delivery Operations & Process Compliance:

    Evaluate opportunities to streamline processes and workflows to improve operational efficiency, addressing bottlenecks in the end-to-end flow.

    Implement best practices to drive efficiency and improve time to production.

    Partner with enterprise PMO as needed to ensure all projects meet quality standards and compliance, including SDLC, Project Management Lifecycle, Agile Standards, etc.

    Drive standardization of delivery practices in alignment with enterprise standards and controls.

    Promote best practices, governance, compliance, and standards across the delivery organization.

    Project Planning:

    Define project scope, deliverables, objectives, and develop a project schedule.

    Project Execution:

    Ensure completion of deliverables per schedule, adhering to the defined SDLC process.

    Stakeholder Communication:

    Ensure clear communication between the team, product owner, and relevant stakeholders.

    Risk Management:

    Identify risks, issues, and mitigation plans. Remove impediments in a timely manner.

    Project Reporting:

    Monitor and report project progress, provide timely feedback.

    Publish weekly and monthly status reports.

    Qualifications:

    Experience:

    Minimum of 8 years of experience in a banking or financial environment.

    Proven experience in managing data and tools delivery projects.

    Skills:

    Strong strategic planning and execution skills.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Proficiency in project management and delivery lifecycle methodologies, including SDLC and Agile.

    Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage resources effectively.

    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and mitigate risks.

    Technical Expertise:

    In-depth knowledge of data management and tools delivery.

    Familiarity with enterprise PMO processes and compliance standards.
