    Position Overview:

    Our banking client is seeking a highly skilled Information Security Engineer III with specialized expertise in User Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA/UBA) and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) technologies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in a banking or financial environment and will ensure the technological and digital security of the Bank at an advanced level. This role involves mitigating exposure to cyber threats, assessing potential vulnerabilities, and protecting assets and information through various methods. The candidate will also provide guidance to less experienced associates and stay current with industry practices and evolving threats.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Technical Security:

    Administer UEBA/UBA and CASB tools and processes to secure assigned technical areas and data.

    Participate in security audits, identify security gaps, and develop and implement risk mitigation solutions.

    Ensure compliance with necessary protocols, configurations, or procedures.

    Analysis:

    Identify and evaluate potential threats or vulnerabilities in the Bank's networks, applications, or systems.

    Compile data from external and internal sources to create actionable intelligence.

    Conduct thorough reviews and analyses to develop comprehensive security measures.

    Security Expertise:

    Maintain current knowledge of UEBA/UBA, CASB, Shadow IT, general cyber technologies, emerging threats, and security trends.

    Provide guidance on appropriate security protocols and lead projects as a technical and security resource.

    Ensure team members are trained on current trends, threats, and applicable technologies.

    Issue Resolution:

    Investigate and resolve complex, escalated security incidents, including unauthorized access, malware infections, configuration anomalies, cyber attacks, and other risks.

    Implement effective solutions to mitigate identified security issues promptly.

    Business Strategy:

    Assist in the development of security policies, standards, and strategies.

    Contribute to the overall security posture of the organization by integrating strategic insights into practical security measures.

    Qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience in UEBA/UBA Systems Engineering, Network, and Information Security.

    OR High School Diploma or GED with 11 years of experience in UEBA/UBA Systems Engineering, Network, and Information Security.

    Technical Requirements:

    Knowledge of data security practices, procedures, and monitoring and alert tools: SCCM, SCOM, and Splunk.

    Proficiency in Active Directory administration, user provisioning, DNS, Group Policy Objects, NTFS permissions, File Shares, SharePoint, domain controllers, LDAP, Data Loss Prevention technologies, encryption technologies, and Single Sign-On technologies.

    Understanding of Identity and Access Management concepts and technologies.

    Ability to clearly communicate risks, threats, and vulnerabilities identified during assessments.

    Additional Requirements:

    Availability to provide after-hours operational support on a rotational basis.

    Minimal travel as required.
