I have been in Talent Acquisition for over 10 years. I love technology and I love helping people find a home for their skills, and I’ve spent most of my career recruiting/sourcing engineers for jobs in software. I’m an expert in technical sourcing, recruitment process, interview prep & administration, compensation negotiation, and competitor landscape evaluation. I have held positions like Technical Sourcer, Full Lifecycle Recruiter, and Lead Technical Recruiter at companies like Cisco, Bosch, Citrix, and Meta Platforms.  I learn quickly and I am constantly finding ways to think outside of the box. Recruiting to me is a balancing act between creativity and tenacity – working smart & working hard. Our time is valuable, and I place a ton of importance on efficiency. With this mindset I’ve had the fortune of matching hundreds of highly skilled candidates with opportunities at some of the best organizations in the world, fostering growth for both the business and my candidates.

I started my recruiting career in high school during an internship I was required to complete for graduation. Starting Junior year of high school, I worked at a staffing agency called DynPro on and off throughout my summers all the way through college. My first full-time recruiting job was at a Raleigh-based agency called Resolvit where I recruited engineers for several Fortune 500 tech companies like Cisco, Lenovo, Dell-EMC, and others. My first corporate recruiting opportunity was at Cisco where I was a Technical Sourcer for L2/L3 embedded software engineers for enterprise-grade routing and switching products. After Cisco, I got a job with Bosch as a Technical Sourcer where I sourced ADAS software engineers (advanced driver assist systems) for a partnership program between Bosch and Mercedes Benz. After leaving Bosch, I bounced around a few different RPO programs through RandstadSourceright with companies like PSE&G, Rackspace, and AXA Equitable where I held positions as a Technical Sourcer or Technical Recruiter. Upon completion of those contracts, I was given an amazing opportunity to be Lead Technical Recruiter for Citrix Systems where I led a team of 5 sourcers. I started out as a Technical Sourcer but quickly gained a reputation with leadership as an SME in all things Citrix TA and was promoted to Lead Full-Lifecycle Recruiter within 6 months. I supported several key BU’s and took full ownership of their reqs. With my team we recruited various engineering talent with a focus on Cloud/Cloud-Native SWE, Security, and DevOps/SRE both at the IC level and management. I was then approached by Facebook for a full-time, perm Technical Sourcer role for Android/iOS recruiting. While Citrix was an amazing place to work, it was always a dream to work at a FAANG company so I took the opportunity. I sourced for several of Facebook/Meta’s software teams such as Android/iOS, Prod/Sys (basically web-dev for Instagram and Facebook), as well as Machine Learning for Instagram, WhatsApp, and FB Reality Labs. I spent the majority of my time at Facebook recruiting Machine Learning engineers for Instagram Search, FB Newsfeed Ranking, Insta/FB Targeted Ads, and a few different Reality Labs teams focused on Metaverse projects. 

I completed coursework towards BS in Biology from the University of NC at Chapel Hill. My original plan was to pursue a career in medicine, but ultimately decided it wasn’t for me. Since I already had internship experience from my time at DynPro, I went back to recruiting and decided to pursue that as a career. I was really good at it and my mentors at DynPro gave me the confidence to go forward with it.
