About Sammy Amimo:
I am passionate about promoting the health and well-being of communities. As a dedicated Public Health Administrator, my mission is to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and the broader population. With a strong background in public health and a commitment to enhancing healthcare systems, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table.
My career in public health administration has equipped me with the skills to plan, organize, and manage public health programs effectively. I have a deep understanding of healthcare policies, epidemiology, and healthcare management, which allows me to develop strategies that improve the health outcomes of our communities.
One of my key strengths is the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare providers, community organizations, and the public. I thrive on fostering partnerships to achieve common goals and address complex public health challenges.
Experience
I have a proven track record in project management, where I excel in understanding client requirements, project scope, and deliverables. I take the lead in project delivery and client meetings, all while adhering to the Assess-Design-Develop-Deliver-Monitor process across various project modules. My skills extend to managing project teams, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and overseeing vendor relationships, Design & Delivery, and Data Processing.
In addition to my project management responsibilities, I maintain field schedules and ensure deadlines are met by effectively communicating with the team. I oversee the quality of programmed questionnaires and continuously monitor and guide the progress of fieldwork. Specifying deliverable requirements and conducting final reviews of team member deliverables are also integral parts of my role. I actively contribute to process improvements within the team.
Operational excellence is a key focus of my work, encompassing ensuring project profitability, on-time project delivery, efficient invoicing and collection processes, and managing quality and risk to maintain positive feedback from clients.
I also have a strong background in business development, involving the identification and development of work opportunities, thorough client requirement analysis, and the development of Expressions of Interest (EoI) and proposals. I am adept at client presentations to showcase our capabilities and solutions.
Moreover, I play a significant role in practice development by supporting and leading learning and development initiatives for the team and the broader organization. Finally, I engage in thought leadership activities, managing research, conducting insightful analysis, and delivering thought leadership reports on both a global and domestic scale, with guidance from senior team professionals.
