    Director of Operations

    About PURIS:

    Job Summary:

    Reporting to the Regional Vice President, incumbent will be responsible for enhancing the internal organization processes and infrastructure that will allow IPR to continue to grow and fulfill its mission. With a direct staff, the Operations Director will manage the following functions:

    Responsibilities:

    Financial Management and Oversight:

    Working with the Corporate Controller, manage and oversee all financial reporting and business planning activities, including:

    • Direct and administer all financial plans.
    • Oversee and foster business policies and SOP resulting in operational excellence.
    • Review and analyze financial reports.
    • Support and advise the GM as it relates customer relations.
    • Lead and support organizational budgeting and sales forecasting process.
    • Oversee reporting and monitoring of organizational performance metrics.
    • Ensure that relevant financial data is accurate and presented timely to the CEO.

    Human Resources:

    Working with the VP of human resources, manage the human resource function at designated BU/Region for IPR, including:

    • Performance management and compensation
    • Organizational structure and effectiveness
    • Professional training and development programs including coaching and mentoring staff.
    • Retention & succession planning strategies
    • Regulatory oversight and legal compliance
    • Ensuring that the human resource function is properly resourced and represented within the senior management team.

    Operations:

    Lead and direct operations leadership team.

    • Identify and implement companywide best practice program and policies.
    • Oversee risk management and legal activities: letters of agreement, contracts, leases, and other legal documents and agreements.
    • Plan and manage facilities, equipment, and human capital.
    • Implement strategic growth plan.

    Sales:

    Working with the COO and Director of sales and Marketing.

    • Provide service feasibility analysis for customer needs.
    • Foster customer one focus (Quality, safety performance)
    • Assist in the Identification, evaluation, and development of organic and external business opportunities to foster company growth and profitability.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
    • Strong industry related operational experience: ideally has worked in a senior management role for 5+ years in a socially responsible organization with progressive experience leading to at least three years' experience in leadership operations management role.
    • Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis with previous experience overseeing operations.
    • Skills should include organizational development, personnel management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning; demonstrated success developing and monitoring systems to manage both operational and programmatic work that involve high levels of collaboration.
    • Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.
    • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the mission of IPR.
    • Flexible and able to multi-task; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems.
