    Since that time, the company has grown to become a national, multi-channel retailer of lighting and other home decor products, including rugs, furniture, mirrors, fans, and wall decor.

    True to its heritage though, the company has remained singularly focus on its curated collection of high-style products and unique lighting designs, many of which are produced in-house by the company's own staff of highly trained artisans.

    Job Overview
    Shades of Light is looking to add a Technology Manager to our IT Department. This role would be responsible for supervising the Help Desk and Cyber Security Teams.

    They would also be responsible spearheading special projects within the department and maintaining strong vendor relationships to push initiatives forward.


    Duties and Responsibilities:
    Work regularly with the IT Director on current and future department goals
    Hire and interview candidates for new positions within the IT department.
    Coordinate onboarding and training for new IT associates
    Lead weekly team meetings for the IT department and conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with IT team members
    Lead team building initiatives
    Conduct Manage Engine documentation review to ensure all processes and IT changes are documented.
    Document IT help desk solutions to aid in the training and onboarding of new IT associates
    Evaluate onboarding of all company New Hires
    Manage the coordination with and selection of outside vendors. (Ie. Backup, Firewall and virus protection, security training, etc.)
    Coordinate all IT hardware and software purchases including ensure manager approvals in Manage Engine
    Ensure proper planning and project management for implementation of Functional/Administrative IT projects

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
    2 Years Experience in leading Technology or IT Teams
    Experience working in an e-commerce environment is preferred
    Project Management experience is a plus
    Experience working with Third Party Solution Providers
    Experience building and developing high performance teams
    Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills
    Strong Problem Solving and Analytical Skills
    Strong Time Management Skills
