    Description

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school diploma or GED required
    • 5 years warehouse experience required
    • Must be able to operate a single deep reach truck, sit down forklift, stock picker, electric jack and scissor lift
    • Ability to lead projects with 2 or more employees
    • Basic math and computer skills
    • Able to produce a high volume of work and rarely make mistakes
    • Able to work independently
    • Must be able to lift 80 lbs.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead, guide, delegate & give instructions to his/her assigned crew
    • Enforce safety regulations
    • Communicate effectively with management and other departments (phone or/and email)
    • Operate a handheld device and forklift to pick and stage orders, perform put away transactions and to receive transactions
    • Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner to retrieve or store material
    • Unload/load trucks as necessary
    • Operate a handheld device to store and move material properly around the warehouse
    • Operate a handheld to perform miscellaneous transactions such as packing, unpacking, RMA's, organization transfers, sub transfers, pick samples and replenishments
    • Uses computer to do inventory inquiries, queu tasks and run warehouse reports
    • Ability to check and prioritize both sales orders and work orders
    • Report damage of product, storage racks or any unsafe conditions to management
    • Verify safety inspection sheet has been completed before operating a forklift
    • Lead warehouse team projects
    • Perform open and closing procedures for building as needed
    • Perform the daily temperature and humidity monitoring of warehouse areas
    • Able to drive commercial truck and transfer products between buildings
    • Must have a general knowledge of all the operations and system transaction related to warehousing
