    Description

    Mosaic Company's is a fast-growing, mid-sized company located in Hialeah, Florida. The Sr. Director of Warehouse Operations willmanage the overall planning, organizing, and operations of the distribution center network totaling 600,000 square feet, encompassing 3 primary warehouse locations plus 10 branch locations. This position will oversee all distribution functions, including order processing, picking, packaging, shipping, receiving, and inventory. The role will also monitor inventory levels to fulfill orders, track production metrics, and anticipate and resolve problems.     Overview of role:

    • Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments using Daily Management Systems.
    • Provide assistance and support to warehouse employees and address any concerns or issues on the work floor
    • Ensure that products delivered are in good condition and stored in an organized manner to maintain quality and accessibility
    • Develop and layout plans that optimize the storage and retrieval of goods, focusing on velocity slotting principles
    • Set objectives and projects for employees to meet
    • Efficiently process orders to ensure timely and accurate product delivery
    • Communicate with branch managers or customers to resolve discrepancies and errors
    • Collaborate with the Logistics team to address logistical problems and find solutions
    • Coordinate with other managers to discuss product, shipping, and distribution matters
    • Maintain inventory accuracy in accordance with financial policies
    • Work with the sales organization to effectively manage slow-moving or obsolete inventory
    • Supervise and enforce worker health and safety regulations
    • Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations, policies, and safety procedures
    • Implement ERP and internal system support team to provide additional value in support of sales and warehouse teams
    • Serve as an escalation point for warehouse functions, including new hire introductions, training, and troubleshooting
    • Update and maintain manual documentation on procedures as needed.
