- Knowledge of a broad range of computer science and operations research methods and techniques to store, manipulate, transform or present information by means of computer systems.
- Knowledge of computer coding techniques and methods used to develop, adapt, modify, and apply models to resolve problems or define and clarify alternative solutions.
- Knowledge of quantitative techniques and methods used to develop, adapt, modify, and apply models to resolve problems or define and clarify alternative solutions.
- Skill to negotiate and/or defend findings and program support concepts.
- Ability to lead study teams; originate new ideas, projects, and methodologies; and execute projects and/or studies within established financial and/or time constraints.
- Ability to develop and utilize appropriate data collection techniques and design, build, and use computer models and simulation techniques.
- Knowledge of Air Force cost databases to include the Air Force Total Ownership Cost (AFTOC) and Program and Budget Enterprise System (PBES) highly desired, but not required.

The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time, Operations Research Analyst (GS T13) to work at the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia.
Come work for the Department of the Air Force Studies and Analysis where you can join a diverse team of mathematicians, engineers, and data scientists working to provide analysis backed by data to the highest echelons of Air Force/Space Force leadership.
Where you will tackle questions such as:
