    JOB PURPOSE:

    The Clinical Support Coordinator provides support to the Military Family Clinic as a manager of clinical support services, including Intake and Case Management staff. The Clinical Support Coordinator will conduct phone, in-person, and face-to-face screenings, through an online platform, for referrals and intakes, on-site and off-site, for Veterans and military family members. The Clinical Support Coordinator will act as the direct supervisor for a multi-disciplinary team, taking the lead on clinical case assignments, consultations, and care coordination. The Clinical Support Coordinator will provide the full scope of supervisory duties for a team of Intake-Clinicians and Case Management focusing on ensuring all duties are coordinated and standardized across team members. The Clinical Support Coordinator may also provide direct client services using evidence-based targeted treatment as authorized by the Clinic Director.

    Qualifications

    ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Conduct initial referrals screeners and intakes for potential clients. Document detailed and confidential intake information on the electronic health record (EHR) system. Maintain a comprehensive client referral tracking system and ensure intake staff follow set processes. Ensure intake staff provides adequate coverage through work schedule management. Prepare reports as requested by Clinic Director/Assistant Director.
    • Provide direct supervision to include time management, performance evaluation, training, and support to Intake-Clinician(s) and Case Manager to ensure continuity and quality of processes and compliance with CARF and clinic standards.
    • Provide ongoing program evaluation and recommendations to the Outreach Director, Office Manager, and Clinic Director for continuous growth and quality.
    • Meet regularly with Assistant Clinic Director/Supervising Clinicians to coordinate case assignments, track and report intake trends, and attend additional meetings as required.
    • Provide support to Office Manager/Clinic Director for managing insurance billing requirements when needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    EDUCATION: Masters Degree in Social Work or Counseling with an active license in the state of Texas e.g., LPC or LPC-Associate, LMFT or LMFT-Associate, LCSW or LMSW. Maintain license and/or certifications as required by state regulations. Stay current in the field of mental health, counseling, case management and other related social services.

    EXPERIENCE: 3+ years post-graduate experience in intake coordination and/or case management preferred. Experience working with Veteran and Military population highly preferred. Experience required in assessing immediate risk to self or others for the population served. Experience providing direct supervision preferred. Bilingual candidates are highly preferred.

    ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion.

    LICENSES: Driver's License with clear record.

    VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.

    OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.
