    Job Description - A leading Apparel brand known for its young contemporary fashion is seeking a Technical Designer to join the team Collaborate with the team ensuring that the design and construction of knitted garments meet quality standards...The ideal candidate for this position should have a degree in fashion design or textile engineering, with experience in cut and sew knits.

    They should have strong technical skills, an eye for detail, and excellent communication skills.

    They should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


    Responsibilities:
    Collaborating with designers to develop technical specifications for knitted garments, including measurements, materials, and construction details.
    Creating detailed tech packs that include sketches, measurements, and construction details to communicate design specifications to factories.
    Reviewing and approving knit fabric swatches, lab dips, and strike-offs to ensure they meet design and performance standards.
    Conducting fit sessions and making necessary adjustments to ensure garments fit properly and meet customer expectations.
    Identifying and resolving production issues related to materials, construction, and quality.
    Conducting factory visits to ensure that production processes are in compliance with design and quality standards.

    Working closely with production teams to ensure that garments are produced on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

    Keeping up-to-date with new technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes that can improve product quality and efficiency.

    Skills:
    Degree in Technical Design
    5 plus years' experience in the apparel industry as a Technical Designer
    Proficient MS Office, Excel and Word, 3D is a plus...
    Strong organizational skills
    Possess strong team playing and communication skills.
