- Install, de\-install, and modify hardware equipment as needed\.
- Implement Government Furnished Equipment \(GFE\) and Contractor Furnished Equipment \(CFE\) field changes in tactical equipment\.
- Provide technical support for integrating tactical equipment configurations, collaborating with software support groups, test operations personnel, and engineering design support teams\.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on tactical equipment, including Q70s, UYK\-43s, UYQ\-21 display equipment, and others\.
- Assist in the procurement, delivery, installation, and testing of new tactical equipment configurations and associated hardware\.
- Maintain detailed configuration documentation for equipment and cable configurations, firmware settings, equipment utilization metrics, and status updates\.
- Utilize facility hotline processes to track and assign technical support for investigating and resolving tactical hardware issues and failures promptly\.
- Record and analyze equipment issues, failures, and trends affecting operational efficiency\.
- Generate reports using Microsoft tools for various functional area groups\.
- Strong technical background with experience in hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting\.
- Familiarity with Government Furnished Equipment \(GFE\) and Contractor Furnished Equipment \(CFE\) processes preferred\.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross\-functional groups\.
- Excellent documentation skills to maintain detailed configuration records and reports\.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft tools for reporting and analysis\.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including days, evenings, midnights, holidays, and weekends as required\.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level\.
- Successful candidate must be familiar with troubleshooting/repair practices and principles coupled with documented experience using standard test equipment \(e\.g\. multi\-meters, o\-scopes, network analyzers and fiber optic testers\) found in a large scale systems operational/engineering environments\.
- Knowledge of LAN technology coupled with the ability to understand UNIX based program commands and LAN network theory to assist in the analysis, isolation and repair of hardware failures\.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Products: Excel, Word, Access and Power Point Software, as well as operating systems\.
- Must be able to obtain & maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level\.
- Must possess good oral and written communication skills and be able to express ideas effectively and concisely\.
- Possess excellent phone skills and customer service etiquette\.
- Navy & Aegis system experience with, and/or training in, UNIX/LINUX based operating systems, \(including essentials for system maintenance and/or system admin\)\.
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing tactical military hardware\.
- A basic understanding of Agile methodology, Digital Transformation and Automation, and Cloud computing\.
- Current or recent US government security clearance at the SECRET level or above
