- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field required
- EIT certification preferred
- No prior experience required; however, prior internship(s) and/or applicable coursework preferred
- Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn about the respective engineering discipline
- Has a strong theoretical knowledge in the respective engineering field
- Familiar with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, Civil3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)

CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Land Development Engineer I to join our Commercial & Institutional - Land Development Team at our office in Duluth, GA.
YOUR IMPACT:Effective land development projects hinge on collaborative efforts between developers, regulatory bodies, community stakeholders, consultants, and local review boards. At the outset of a project, CHA prioritizes a comprehensive assessment of its impact on the entire community, accounting for all moving parts. We then skillfully execute development to enhance traffic, stormwater drainage, water quality, sanitary services and the built environment. CHA has completed thousands of projects across the country, including warehouses, retail, mixed-use, and residential projects for private developers, as well as parks and recreational facilities, trails, sidewalk and streetscape improvements, port facilities, stream restorations, major utility extensions, public housing, and entertainment venues for public/government agencies.
Working closely with professional engineers, the Land Development Engineer I assists in the design development, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems to implement new products, or changes to an existing scheme, to suit individual client needs. The professional in this role works on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements.
The Land Development Engineer I aids in preparing technical reports, contract documents and cost estimates for various engineering tasks. The professional in this role performs simple calculations and engineering design using the standards established by federal, state, and local regulations, as well as the company, group, client, etc. The individual in this role solves routine problems by applying defined procedures and attends field assignments when appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS:$65,000 - $75,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
