    Position: Maitred

    Reports To: General Manager

    Salary: $80k-$85k

    As aMaitred, you must assist in the development of a positive and inclusive work environment, leading in a hands-on capacity and striving to improve the financial and cultural aspects of the restaurant. TheMaitredshall manage our Partners Lists, our Guest Lists and our Reservations Lists to ensurethat seating is maximized yet comfortable, and the guests experience is amplified throughservice

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Create a welcoming and hospitable environment for guests whether in person or over the phone.
    • Quote accurate wait times while finding the yes for all guests.
    • Act as a liaison between the guest, management, service staff and kitchen and communicate accordingly.
    • Work with efficiency and a sense of urgency while remaining composed.
    • Demonstrate an understanding of reservations booking strategies and a working knowledge of all functions ofSevenRooms.
    • Coordinate with management to build the book and boost cover counts while taking into consideration both the needs of the business and the needs of our guests.

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of experience in the role of Maitre D at a fine dining establishment
    • A passion for guest experience and hospitality
    • Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
    • English fluency and additional languages preferred, but not required
    • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, climb up and down stairs, walk, carry multiple objects
