    Description

    Craft NY is seeking their next Maitre D' to become part of their expanding team


    • Serve as a leader of the host team, assigning duties, work stations, and responsibilities
    • Welcome guests and ensure a smooth flow through the restaurant and to designated dining tables
    • Check work areas for cleanliness
    • Manage menu printing, floor plans, and shift summary notes
    • Communicate clearly and effectively in all situations
    • Maintain service standards for a memorable guest experience
    • Uphold the company's vision and values
    • Show attention to detail and a willingness to learn
    • Participate in pre-service and closing duties
    • Be knowledgeable about daily menus
    • Engage in service and culinary education sessions
    • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 3 years experience as a Lead Host or Maitre D in a fine dining environment
    • Strong passion for food and beverages
    • Familiarity with POS and reservation systems
    • Genuine interest in the hospitality industry
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work well in a team and accept feedback
    • Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
    • Capable of reaching, bending, stooping, climbing, walking, and carrying objects
