    IT Manager, SAP Record to Report - Orlando, United States - Carlisle Companies

    Description


    The IT Manager – SAP Record to Report will be responsible for delivering the Record to Report solution for a large business led ERP Transformation program.

    This position will closely work with ERP Solution Integrator and Record to Report Global Process Owner to fully define and standardize the business processes for the company.

    The IT Manager – SAP RTR will provide expertise in all aspects of SAP's Finance and Controlling (FICO) modules as well as integration points with other functional modules.


    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    Utilize SAP ECC best practices in design, configure / develop, test and deploy an integrated ERP solution with SAP ECC at the core.

    Drive the definition of functional requirements for the Global template in the RTR process area.

    Build an understanding of the current state system landscape to define the future state system landscape both during interim states and once fully deployed.

    Deliver solution models and solution architectures in line with business requirements, organization and industry standards across all CIT Plants.

    Work with the project stakeholders to understand the business outcomes and strategy so that recommended solution options provide fit to standard business process solutions.

    Assesses the impact of business change requests on the existing model and support the prioritization of finance, controlling and costing related changes.

    Provide direction and guidance ensuring adherence to design standards and the target operating model.

    Support the functional and technical analysts to determine high-level functional and nonfunctional requirements, maximizing the use of standard or out-of-the-box features and capabilities.

    Be accountable for the viability of proposed solutions and provides direction, advice and guidance on the appropriate approach to the solution throughout the project.

    Work and effectively communicates with a wide range of stakeholders across the group in developing a solution that meets the needs of the business.

    Lead a team of IT Functional leads and analysts within the Record to Report process area.
    Impart SAP FICO expertise to other employees through over the shoulder learning, system demonstrations, and coordinated knowledge sharing sessions.
    Plan, manage and participate in system unit test, integration test, UAT and other formal and informal testing activities.
    Organize end to end scenarios for test cycle simulations, which will include the interface to and from external systems.

    Directly responsible for the teams in the respective area.

    Provides ongoing training to applicable staff to develop and encourage their technical and operational performance.
    Meets with appropriate staff on a timely basis for performance evaluations and goal setting.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
    Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on equivalent basis.
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Technology, or similar discipline.
    8-10 Years of Hands-on SAP FICO configuration and functional design expertise, SAP S/4 experience a plus.
    Minimum of five full life cycle SAP FICO implementation cycles with at least one in manufacturing industry.
    Strong understanding of Record to Report business process flows and SAP process design.

    Knowledge of how Record to Report cycle integrates with Source to Pay, Order to Cash and Plan to produce flow is required.

    CPA Certification or MBA (Finance) is preferable.
    1-3 Years of manufacturing industry experience

    LANGUAGE SKILLS
    Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
    Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

    Demonstrated expertise in modeling and documenting business processes (i.e., As-Is, To-Be).
    Ability to configure SAP and make recommendations on SAP best practices.

    SALARY INFORMATION
    In compliance with multiple state's wage transparency laws, the annual salary for this position will be $145,000 - $155,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
