    HVAC Sales Consultant- Sell On

    Snapshot of key accountabilities:


    The HVAC Sales Consultant with Tropic Supply is responsible for developing long-term relationships and driving sales growth for HVAC equipment and related supplies in their assigned territory.


    Executing our sales process to completion by developing and maintaining relationships and building trust with influencers and decision-makers within each customer's and prospect's business.

    Building relationships at multiple levels with potential clients via phone, email, social media and face-to-face meetings

    Continually develop sales skills and learn the products we sell to prescribe solutions based on the business needs of each contractor.

    Providing consultative account management, post-sales support, and consistent follow-up.

    Properly maintaining CRM activities to spend the most quality time with contractors and bring as much value to your interactions with them as possible.

    Working as a part of a sales unit in the marketplace, you will be expected to collaborate with Resource Center Leaders within your territory to ensure our RC Centers are providing the highest level of service to our customers and meeting all their needs.

    They are persuasive and adaptable and can IMPROV their sales presentations when necessary.

    They are driven by a sense of urgency to follow up on the customer-centric solutions that they have offered to gain agreement and schedule the steps.

    With optimism, they see hidden opportunities within roadblocks and see lofty goals as challenging.

    What makes you successful?

    3-5 years of a demonstrable track record of success in a B2B sales role, ideally with career progression.
    Sales experience with contractors in the construction industry.
    Experience building strong client relationships.
    Knowledge of target market, including both prospective client and geography.
    Demonstrable experience using a CRM platform for business, a plus.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office.
    Must have market-related knowledge and sales experience.
    HVAC industry experience a plus, but not necessary.
