- Perform detailed General Ledger (GL) analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data across various real estate platforms.
- Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards for review by management.
- Lead month-end closing processes with precision and efficiency.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decision-making processes and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity and alignment with operational objectives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Support audits and tax compliance activities as needed.
- Stay informed of industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and optimize financial performance.
- Other projects as needed include work supporting Development Projects, Job Cost Budgets, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with exposure to public accounting.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
