    Position: Senior Accountant

    Overview:We are seeking a Senior Accountant to collaborate closely with the Controller in managing the day-to-day accounting operations of our company. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) while maintaining accurate financial records.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in compiling monthly financial data, conducting variance analysis, and reconciling balance sheets, including Work in Progress (WIP).
    • Support the Controller in conducting Fiscal Year End Reviews, Audits, and various related tasks.
    • Aid in various tax filings under the guidance of the Controller.
    • Maintain the Fixed Assets Schedule accurately.
    • Assist in managing government filings and city business licenses.
    • Facilitate Business Insurance Renewals and audits.
    • Contribute to ESOP Administration tasks.
    • Undertake Budget and Forecast duties as required.
    • Perform other assigned tasks and duties as necessary.

    Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, with 3 or more years of relevant experience.
    • CPA or CPA Candidate status is advantageous.
    • Seeking candidates with the following attributes: Hardworking, Dependable, Constant Improvement, Adaptability, Client Oriented.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficient in accounting fundamentals and internal controls.
    • Capable of multitasking, possessing strong analytical skills, and driven by deadlines.
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
    • Experience with software integrations; familiarity with Sage 300 is a plus.
    • Comfortable working in a 100% in-office environment.
