The Intersect Group is working with a client in search for a Senior Accountant to join their team

Job Title:
Senior Accountant

Location:
On-Site, Tustin, CA

Hybrid: 3 days on-site and 2 days remote

Pay:
$95,000-110,000 / with a 5% Bonus (depending on experience)

Hours:
M-F, 8:00am-5pm

Type:
Direct Hire

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee GL accounting, account reconciliations and prepare schedules as needed.
Maintain Fixed Assets additions, disposals, & depreciation schedules.
Assist with treasury functions including payments and bank account reconciliations.
Assist in month-end, year-end and annual budgeting process.
Provide support during audits and other financial reviews.
Prepare and file sales and use tax for all current jurisdictions.
Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA Certification ideal.

Minimum of three years of experience in accounting or a related field, with a preference for experience in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) or Retail Chains.

QuickBooks Online, Oracle Net-Suite & SAGE Fixed Assets is preferred.
Proficiency with AS/400 is considered valuable, but not mandatory.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
