    Job Title: Data Analyst
    Location: PHOENIX, AZ (Remote Job)
    Duration: 12 Months

    General Summary
    • The Data Analyst bridges the gap between business units and programming resources, fulfilling requests for business data using available business intelligence tools.
    • The Data Analyst will work with business users, technical resources, and 3rd party vendors to determine the appropriate methodology and tools to facilitate the creation and implementation of the data request.
    • Responsibilities include creating specifications, maintaining system documentation, adhering to data governance standards, development of reporting output, testing and implementation support, and problem research and resolution support.
    Job Description:
    • Looking for Data Analyst with BSA/AML implementation experience. We are looking for someone who was part of Actimize, Verafin or any other BSA enterprise implementation. BSA/AML (Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering) experience is mandatory.
    Principal Duties and Responsibilities
    • Primary support for Bank Data related projects
    • U sing automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources
    • Removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems
    • Create reporting utilizing business intelligence tools when applicable
    • Work with internal Business units & vendors to identify & resolve data issues
    • Adherence to IT Governance and Data Governance standards
    • Create and maintain system procedures
    • Train business users
    Experience
    • Minimum of 3 year's work experience in Banking Operations or as a business or data analyst, with a focus on Banking Systems data preferred.
    Skills Qualifications:
    • Power BI, Tableau or similar analytical tool experience
    • Intermediary database skills (i.e., SQL, Access, other)
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as MS Project, Excel, Word and Power Point
    • BSA AML system development experience preferred
    • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to self # start and work independently while engaging in multiple initiates, interacting with a diverse group of management, executives, and subject matter experts
    • A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
