Key Focus:

The Data Analyst II is responsible for providing information, insights, and analyses regarding the performance of Cox Business sales channels, including standard reporting and monitoring of the health of the business, ad-hoc analyses, and proactive identification of actionable optimization opportunities.

This position interacts with a variety of teams to understand strategies and provide insights and reporting to inform prioritization and data-driven decisions for sales strategy and operations.

The Data Analyst II is recognized as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on issues related to reporting and aggregating internal and external data sources to produce analyses, insights and metrics.

Responsibilities:


  • Partner with Cox Business teams to understand business needs and establish requirements to provide reporting, analysis, actionable insights, and recommendations to drive growth and business optimization.
  • Build holistic usercentric reporting, dashboard and analyses, that fit business need, align with or optimize sales and business operations flows, and create an effective user experience for consuming insights.
  • Create advanced reporting and dashboards primarily in Salesforce, CRMA & Tableau as well as ad hoc analysis using outside reporting platforms. Manage fullcycle dashboard and reporting delivery from requirements to design and development, and through launch and adoption. Set proper delivery expectations according to business priorities with manager's support.
  • Define complex business logic and data integration requirements to enable reporting and analysis needs. Validate the data in our reporting to ensure crosssystem data is accurate and aligned to current business definition.
  • Leverage statistical testing and experimental design methodologies to determine impact of organizational actions.
  • Identify and recommend ways to improve data analysis's tools, technologies, and methods.
  • Work with direct line of leadership to define priorities. Must be able to deliver against business goals working both independently and collaboratively across functional teams. Promotes positive work environment. Develops, builds, and manages relationships within team and in collaboration with regional peers.

Qualifications:

Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years' experience in a related field.
  • 2+ years working with business intelligence tools to generate analytics on a variety of data sources (Salesforce Tableau, CRM Analytics, Microsoft Power BI, etc.)
  • 1+ years' experience with Salesforce reporting and CRM Analytics. Tableau a plus.
  • Experience with SAQL and SQL required. R or Python a plus.
  • Experience synthesizing large volumes of data and complex questions into clear analyses and actionable findings. Experience defining business logic, metrics and measurement for sales or similar use cases.
  • Advanced Excel skills required, including formula, graphs, and visualization development.
  • Demonstrates a consultative mindset and desire to understand business strategy, process and user needs, and translate them into actionable, consumable reporting and analysis products.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to successfully comprehend and communicate analytics artifacts, business insights, and resulting implications to nontechnical business partners. Ability to manage priorities and be selfmotivated, working independently and within crossfunctional teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Salesforce certifications related to CRMA, Einstein and similar insights areas.
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud Experience in migrating assets across the Salesforce ecosystem (e.g., Tableau to CRMA)
