    PeopleShare is currently hiring for a privately-owned manufacturing company in the Ewing NJ area. This Quality Manager will be overseeing their Quality Department and must have 5+ years working in quality control environment.
    Job Details for Quality Manager:
    • Hours: Monday- Friday, 6:45am - 3:00pm
    • Pay: $75k-$80k salary
    • Direct Hire

    Job Responsibilities for Quality Manager:
    • Manage the Quality Management System for LMT Mercer Group, Inc, and LMT Hartville, Inc.
    • Oversee and provide leadership to all Quality representatives.
    • Oversee all internal testing requirements including materials testing and incoming inspections.
    • Responsible for the disposition of all materials and products that are determined as non-conforming.
    • Responsible for the response, resolution, and documentation of all customer complaint.
    • Supervise, train, and manage all quality assurance supervisors.
    • Report to Management Team, any issues that affect the improvements, or success of the Quality Management System.
    • Ensure that customer requirements are addressed, communicated, and maintained at appropriate levels within the quality management system.
    • Support and interact with all department managers, to ensure that quality requirements, and goals and objectives are in place and understood.
    • Ensure that all employees have been trained in the Quality Policy, and process goals and objectives.
    • Manage current documentation system , including the Quality Manual, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, forms, records, and external documents.
    • Ensure that any regulatory requirements, or 3rd party requirements are identified, addressed, and managed within the quality management system.


    Job Requirements for Quality Manager:
    • Minimum of five years' experience in a Quality Control environment. Should be familiar with all standard measuring equipment, blueprint reading, and basic PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Experience is desired, but not required, of the injection molding process for plastic materials, preferably with PVC and Nylon materials. An understanding of aesthetic maladies and basic terminology of the injection molding process.
    • Associates Degree required
    • Bilingual a plus (Spanish)

    POSITION TITLE: Quality Manager

    SALARY: $75,000-$85,000

    JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage the Quality Management System for LMT Mercer Group, Inc, and LMT Hartville, Inc.

    • Ensure that any regulatory requirements, or 3rd party requirements are identified, addressed, and managed within the quality management system.
    • Manage the corrective action system.
    • Drive the continuous improvement process. Participate in creating corrective actions implementation.
    • Create certifications and Certificates of Conformance, for customers as required.
    • Manage the calibration system and ensue gages are identified, calibrated, documented to meet the requirements of the LMT Quality Management system.
    • Other duties as required.

    Summary of essential job functions and minimum requirements:
    1. Safely adjust molding machine operational parameters
    2. Repair EOAT's
    3. Locate root cause of problems.
    4. Convey information clearly. (Written, typed, drawing)
    5. Read & follow mechanical & electrical drawings.
    6. Install electrical conduit.
    7. Install copper piping.
    8. Install PVC piping.
    9. Install wiring.
    10. Read a voltage / ohm meter.
    11. Perform Preventive Maintenance & enter in computer system.
    12. Look up parts (catalogs / machine manuals).
    13. Communicate over the phone with machine service personnel.
    14. Measure using micrometer.
    15. Other duties as assigned.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS (I.E. EDUCATION, YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, PARTICULAR SOFTWARE OR INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, TRAINING, CERTIFICATIONS, SPECIFIC GPA):


    1. Minimum of five years' experience in a Quality Control environment. Should be familiar with all standard measuring equipment, blueprint reading, and basic PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
    2. Experience is desired, but not required, of the injection molding process for plastic materials, preferably with PVC and Nylon materials. An understanding of aesthetic maladies and basic terminology of the injection molding process.
    3. Experience of supervising, training and directing quality personnel is required.
    4. Minimum of an Associates Degree
    5. Knowledge of quality management systems.
