The Food Safety and Quality Assurance Compliance Manager supports and drives compliance in the area of Food Safety for the operators and our customers and works with the warehouses, customers, and suppliers, to provide resolution to Food Safety and Quality Assurance issues.

The employee will confirm we are in compliance with regulatory requirements and will work with suppliers to ensure they meet the stringent delivery requirements expected.

The employee will also serve as the lead for product recalls and may lead or provide assistance on withdrawals and/or customer QA concerns.

• Responsible for monitoring food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process
• Responsible for overseeing all internal and external audits from customers and regulatory agencies
• Responsible for the correct recording and filing of all relevant record logs and documentation
• Ensure employees are following all food safety and SQF standards
• Perform inspection on products, equipment and machinery
• Responsible for the quality control aspects of raw materials and finished products

• In performing the duties of this job, employee is occasionally exposed to dust, loud noises, and hotter temperatures in the baking facilities.
• Be selfmotivated, working both independently and as integral part of a team
• Possess a positive attitude, excellent communication and documentation skills, and computer proficiency,
• Have the ability to work in a fast paced, effectively under pressure and deadline oriented environment
• Have flexible availability, we work nights and weekends when necessary
• One to three years of similar experience in the food industry is preferred
