    Team : 2 small teams and has 14 people in the engineering team.
    Day to Day - shay recently joined eBay, and is leading the Product Development team core product of Seller experience. Responsible for selling platform where they get sellers from different tools like UI, API, Feeds and everything lands in the platforms. Also drive the APIs and bulk listing tools. Product manager who should be able to drive the technicalities of the listing platform. Listing platform that has been for sometime and also supports the API. Any product manager having 5 years of experience on the platform side, worked with the engineers. Worked with building internal or external APIs. Any certifications or software testing: Prefer a Product Manager who has worked with API and platform.
    Education: Graduation with computer science or computer degree is preferred.
    Red Flags : Design of the platform.
    Looking for someone who have built the services, backend services. Should have worked with the backend engineers. Thinking from the backend rather than the frontend.
    Interview : 1 st round with shay nd 2 more rounds with the engineers. Phone screen & Zoom rounds.
    Platform experience and API experience is important to have.

    Job Description
    - Own and drive the product strategy and roadmap for Listing platform and the Seller APIs at eBay
    - Translate product strategy into clear and concise specifications, make functional and user interface design tradeoffs, handle product launches, and lead the product successes post-launch
    - Data driven product decisions with a balance of near-term deliverables and longer-term investment in technology platforms
    - Communicate strategies and trade-offs up to senior leaders and down to development teams
    - Put the customer first, understand market specific nuances, and identify search algo improvements to address unique search-specific needs
    - Drive collaboration across multiple teams to ensure teams are aligned and are working towards solving customer problems
    - Drive A/B testing to identify launch candidates that improve organizational goals
    • 5+ years with a strong track record of product management experience
    • 2+ years of experience focused in platform and/or technical product management is a must
    • Experience working with API portfolio, API platform preferred.
    • Experience in the Ecommerce industry preferred
    • proven track record building new, innovative, and engaging customer experiences informed by customer data from various sources (market research, A/B testing, user research)
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive decision making
    • Demonstrated leadership ability, self-motivated and directed, entrepreneurial ability to innovate quickly
