Description

Work Schedule Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. This job requires CADC II, CADC III, or LADAC certification with at least 5 years' experience with substance abuse treatment and prevention programs.

Pay range is from $95,000 to $110,000 per year depending on the relevant years of experience

SUMMARY:

The Program Director provides comprehensive oversight of all areas of client support during residential clinical treatment. The Director works closely and in tandem with the Clinical Supervisor toward ensuring high-quality care is provided to beneficiaries.


Core areas of oversight include:

staff training; client programming and logistics scheduling; data management and electronic healthcare records support; compliance with Drug Medi-Cal requirements; client satisfaction with facilities and treatment; site supervision and support of staff members.

She/he ensures services within the facility operate in accordance with all applicable county, state, and federal regulations and statutes.

The Director ensures program excellence, provides on-going support regarding clinical approach and philosophy, and promotes a safe and productive treatment environment for clients and their children.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Provide direct supervision of staff regarding admissions coordination, client care coordination, house management, client referrals, transfers, and case management logistics.
  • Interview, select, hire, train, and retain staff.
  • Create and maintain position descriptions for staff.
  • Provide coaching and constructive feedback in a strengthsbased manner.
  • Ensure adherence to facility and clinical practices in compliance with regulatory statues, policies, and agency internal standards.
  • Oversee Clinical Supervisor for Client services regarding the discharge and documentation of Drug Medi-Cal substance use disorder treatment services to beneficiaries in accordance with Title 22 of the CCR and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Work with teaching institutions to select and place intern.
  • Address performance and employee relations issues in a timely and appropriate manner; escalate issues as needed.
  • Manage the treatment program.
  • Implement evidencebased practices and support agency's treatment philosophy.
  • Devise and maintain program treatment scheduling and logistics administration such as space utilization and concurrent programming, ensuring special population (monolingual, cultural, or cooccurring) needs are accommodated.
  • Ensure treatment program complies with all applicable federal, state, and county standards of care.
  • Stay abreast of developments in the field of SUD treatment and developmental issues for children with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASDs), implementing new practices in consultation with the Clinical Supervisor and Executive Director.
  • Expand program components to include other services in support of long
- term recovery (e.g., GED, employment services, housing options).


  • Ensure compliance with all 42 CFR, county, state and federal laws and licensing requirements.
  • Conduct and attend training sessions as necessary related to confidentiality, evidencebased practices, treatment planning, current regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Prepare for all county, state, and federal audits.
  • Create, implement, regularly review, and audit all facility policies and procedures and ensure compliance related to clinical documentation (e.g., treatment plans, progress notes, confidentiality documents, Drug Medi-Cal timelines, etc.).
  • Submit prompt reports as required by county, state and federal agencies and ensure compliance with all contracting agencies' requirements.
  • Prepare and adhere to program budget.
  • Develop annual County contract budget.
  • Monitor actual vs budgeted revenue and expenses monthly
