    We are recruiting a Service Sales Representative for a large renewable energy company in the Greater Boston Area. This is a unique opportunity for someone will minimal experience in this field to learn more/train to become a sales professional.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsibility for the service order book through the development of new and existing opportunities for
    • the sale of maintenance contracts, parts supply agreements and transactional business.
    • Proactively grow the service business's revenue and profitability through the securing of risk managed business.
    • Lead interaction with the customer base ensuring that all opportunities with existing or new clients are efficiently and satisfactorily converted to contract and where necessary personally undertake negotiations with high revenue contracts and key clients.
    • Be knowledgeable of the engine install base.
    • With support from the Legal Department be responsible for the review of new and existing contract terms and conditions to ensure business risk is clearly identified and managed appropriately within the boundaries set by the Service Manager - US and Managing Director
    • Take responsibility for the pricing of new maintenance contracts, negotiating with customers with regards to contract price, contract life and terms and conditions.
    • Act as focal point for queries from Area Managers, Service Manager and Managing Director with regards to maintenance contracts and Service Commercial matters.
    • Act as a focal point of contact for all contract commercial matters and liaise with customers for the management of liquidated damages due to under performance and any contractual disputes.
    • Undertake "one off" chargeable pricing as required.
    • Provide accurate financial data about all commercial aspects of the service business to the Service Director and seek to identify areas and strategies for improvement and where necessary subsequently deliver those changes.Personal attributes/skills This requires the job holder to demonstrate that they:
