    Description

    Our client is a well-established Owner's Representative in the Chicagoland area looking for a Project Manager to work on high end residential projects.

    Our client has a proven track record in the construction industry and have become one of the top owner's representative's in Chicago.

    Project Portfolio:
    large scale of luxury single family residential
    Chicagoland based projects with minimal travel

    Responsible for tracking, managing, and reporting on the project's overall budget and schedule
    Responsible for providing project updates to the Owner
    Review drawings, specifications, narratives, and supplemental information for completeness and clarity and compile questions and comments related to the project's scope of work
    Provide project management oversight for the design team, contractor, and other project team members
    Monitoring the performance of all project team members and ensure they are meeting their contractual obligations and expectations
    Oversee the project team to ensure each individual's role is being performed at a high level
    Evaluate and negotiate costs for material, equipment, and labor
    Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal/professional networks, and participating in professional societies
    Negotiation of project team members' contracts and agreements
    Develop, manage, and lead clients through the Request for Proposal (RFP) process
    Managing project close-out process and ensuring a proper handoff to the facility management teams
    Manage furniture, fixture, and equipment (FFE) procurement
    Support the client to help ensure a positive experience through the project
    5+ years of experience in Construction Project Management with residential project experience
    ~ Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management
    ~ Working knowledge of skilled trades including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical.
    ~ Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
    ~ Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
