Rethink Electric is an electrical contractor focused on commercial and residential solar projects.

Since 2014 we have designed, built, installed, and maintained many different types of electrical projects ranging from residential solar, commercial solar, industrial solar, EV chargers, tenant buildouts, new construction, and service issues.

Position Overview:


Rethink's Project Execution team is responsible for the successful delivery of solar projects, encompassing all phases from initial development through to commissioning, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Lifecycle Management:

Oversee solar projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Develop and implement project execution plans, identify potential challenges, and devise contingency strategies to mitigate risks.

Team Leadership and Contractor Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop the in-house project execution team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence. Manage and maintain relationships with contractors, ensuring their performance meets our standards and project requirements.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with all environmental laws, policies, and regulations, promoting a culture of strict adherence to compliance protocols. Implement and uphold rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of project execution and safety.

Communication and Reporting:
Maintain open communication channels with senior management, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and opportunities.

Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure alignment of project execution with organizational goals and seamless transition from project completion to operations.


Continuous Improvement:

Conduct thorough analysis of project outcomes, extracting lessons learned and best practices for continuous improvement in project execution processes.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field required; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.


Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management or construction, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the solar or renewable energy sector and 3 years of distributed solar construction projects.


Demonstrated ability to manage complex solar construction projects, with a deep understanding of industry standards, safety protocols, and emerging technologies.

Proven experience in building, leading, and motivating high-performing teams.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across various departments and with external stakeholders.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and solve complex problems efficiently.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.

Certifications such as NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) and OSHA 30-hour training are highly desirable.


Compensation & Benefits:
