- Align HR department goals with organizational objectives.
- Coach and train leaders and employees on policy interpretation and effective problem resolution.
- Provide leadership support to employees in achieving departmental and company results.
- Serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to senior leaders.
- Lead and manage a team of HR professionals to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Develop and implement innovative approaches to applying equity and social justice values.
- Support the administration of compensation programs and employee benefit plans.
- Maximize the use of HR reporting and tracking systems to address inequities and improve efficiency.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee and labor relations.
- Oversee workplace investigations, employee accommodations, and leave requests.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to ensure alignment of HR programs with business needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development, or other related discipline required; Advanced degree a plus.
- SHRM or PHR certified is preferred.
- 5+ years in an HR leadership role.
- Proven experience with compensation and benefits.
- Experience in training, organization development, and/or process improvement techniques.
- Experience in process automation is a plus.
- Experience with ADP is a plus.
- Union experience is a plus.

FIND OUT ABOUT THIS ROLE AND OUR MISSION TO CREATE POSITIVE CHANGEThe Director of Human Resources (HR) at Plymouth Housing Group is responsible for fostering a culture of respect, trust, and accountability while leading multiple initiatives to support a diverse workforce. Key duties include ensuring compliance with HR laws, communicating policies effectively, overseeing benefit administration, and supervising training for supervisors. Collaboration with the Leadership Team to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion is essential. The role also involves devising innovative approaches to applying equity and social justice values throughout the organization's HR processes.
Plymouth Housing is a non-profit organization with apartment buildings throughout King County helping the most vulnerable members of our community leave homelessness behind forever. At Plymouth, we're not simply trying to get people off the streets. We provide supportive services like case management and health care so that our residents can thrive long-term. As part of our strategic vision, we are building internal behavioral health services and transforming our systems to address rapid growth and the changing needs of residents.
