- Under supervision, provides consultative support on straight forward people related matters pertaining to the facility.
- Understand and implement established HR related programs at the facility in support of the employee life cycle.
- Learn the business environment, objectives, and people implications in order to help the facility meet and exceed its financial and operational metrics.
- Complete hiring and onboarding activities for the facility.
- With support, manage employee relations activities utilizing strong judgement and communication skills.
- Help with supervisors in preparing documentation such as corrective action or development plans.
- Ensure that programs are carried out in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
- Provide training and presents information to employees and managers in a large and small group formats.
- Partner with Centers of Expertise to deliver employee related programs.
- First HR point of contact for all employee related questions at the facility.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
- 2 years related work experience.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus.
- Deep knowledge and experience in HR discipline.
- Experience with Workday, Outlook, Excel, Kronos a plus.
- Experience with new employee onboarding and orientation a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and great attention to detail.
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
- Exhibit effective cooperation and communication skills to effectively work within a team environment.
- Effectively give and receive feedback; willingly asks questions and seeks direction, as needed.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment that at times requires wearing PPE (safety shoes and glasses, hardhat, etc.).
- Comfortable working with every level within the facility from manufacturing workers to leadership.
- Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and background.
