About the Role:


We are looking for talented individuals to build the next growth phase of our leading enterprise software solution, Genedata Expressionist, a powerful solution that streamlines mass spectrometry (MS) data analysis, enabling researchers and analysts to extract valuable insights from complex biological data.


You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by effectively communicating the value proposition of our software to potential clients.

Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and qualifying leads, conducting product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the life sciences and biopharma sectors.


This full-time position is based in our office in Lexington (Boston Area), MA, USA, and will have responsibility for specific geographic areas and/or specific accounts in North America.

This position requires 20% travel within North America on a regular basis and occasional international travel.

We are offering a base salary range of between $100,000 to $130,000 for this position.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Use prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to new and existing customers.
  • Actively identify new opportunities by uncovering critical bottlenecks.
  • Drive business and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
  • Consult and become a trusted partner with decision makers from IT, science, and business.
  • Address and solve the clients' needs together with your scientific and technical team with value adding Genedata Expressionist enterprise software solutions.
  • Communicate proposals, create value, and negotiate sales agreements.
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and networking events.

Skills & Experience:


  • BSc required.
  • Passion for accelerating biopharma R&D through highvalue enterprise software solutions.
  • Deep understanding of the biopharma industry and experience with digital transformation.
  • 5+ years of combined experience across sales, account management and consulting services.
  • Problem solver who can prioritize goals and successfully drive business.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Committed to working in a collaborative environment, working together as a team.
  • Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
