This leadership role is in Clearfield, Utah.The Manager Production Planning and Scheduling 1 oversees the coordination of schedules for the production floor as well as ensuring the flow of parts, materials, and assemblies between departments is done in a timely manner.
They will make certain that the manufacturing process operates efficiently and reliably with assistance from the expediting group. Part of their responsibilities includes the estimation and agreement of timescales with the clients and the other managers.You will support driving supplier delivery performance, set execution targets, and track performance in support of achieving program financial goals.
A successful candidate will be ready to lead multi-disciplined teams in a variety of complex tasks while also developing process improvements and creating the tools necessary for exceptional performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage team to company goals using KPI'sOversees the day-to-day workflow of production staffConducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructiveHandles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policyMaintain acceptable inventory accuracy levels through process controls on manufacturing floorDevelop trend analysis tools examining WIP and inventory which effectively signal abnormality within the process and provide guidance to correctionMonitor each programs plan and actuals to ensure optimal line balancing, WIP control, and elimination of over productionAs a leader, you always act with integrity, and the highest ethical standards characterize everything you do.

You deliver excellence, strive for continuous improvement, and respond vigorously to change.Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree and 4 years of related professional/military experience to include a background in supply chain, resource planning, production control, inventory management or similar; or a Master's degree and 2 years of related professional/military experience to include a background in supply chain, resource planning, production control, inventory management or similar; OR a High School Diploma/Equivalent and 8 years of related professional/military experience to include a background in supply chain, resource planning, production control, inventory management or similarActive DoD Secret Security Clearance with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous EvaluationAbility to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearanceExperience with material requirements planning (MRP) and enterprise resource planning (ERP)
