    Job Description:

    Responsible for overseeing accounting within the hotel including invoices, accounts payable, accounts receivable, daily activity reporting.

    Job Responsibilities:
    • Prepare Daily Deposit and record all overages and shortages.
    • Review Daily Revenue Report and make adjustments as needed. Ensure that all information is entered correctly into the accounting system.
    • Record all tax-exempt room revenue.
    • Review all complimentary restaurant and bar charges and track on spreadsheet make sure that all proper documentation is attached.
    • Review all banquet checks/postings and compare against EO's to make sure that everything has been invoiced.
    • Review all accounts receivable and bill all items within 48 hours. Follow up on payments when necessary.
    • Post all checks and ACH payments to advance deposits, general ledger or City ledger.
    • Post rewards reimbursements to the City Ledger.
    • Upload accounts payable invoices into accounting system and code to proper account.
    • Participate in Monthly inventories for Food, Beverage and Market.
    Job Requirements:
    • Be self motivated and able to work independently
    • Strong work ethic and a desire to succeed
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office to include excel and word
    • Basic math skills to make accurate calculations
    • Attention to detail
    • College degree or equivalent job experience
    • Minimum 2 years accounting knowledge
    • Knowledge of CI/TY, Micros and Lightspeed is preferred
    • Hotel experience required
