Welcome to the Department of Medical Psychology and Sociology at the Psychiatric and Psychotherapeutic Clinic at the University Hospital Erlangen Our interdisciplinary team conducts research at the intersection of medicine, psychology, and sociology to improve patient care in Germany.

We are looking for motivated individuals who want to work with us on innovative projects.


The tasks:
You will work with us to further develop the innovative and effective Boulder Psychotherapy for depression.
You will research the application of Boulder Psychotherapy in new target groups within an experienced team.
You will be actively involved in teaching medical psychology and sociology to students of human medicine.

The expertise:
You have successfully completed your studies in the above-mentioned or a related field (diploma or master's degree).
You enjoy working on scientific projects, including organizational and coordination tasks.
You communicate constructively and have social competence and teamwork skills.
You enjoy writing scientific texts and are not afraid of complex statistical analyses.

Additional advantages:
You are a boulderer or climber yourself and may even have experience as a trainer/course leader.
You also have practical experience in data analysis.
You have excellent computer skills (MS Office, SPSS or R, Endnote or similar).
You have previous experience working with children or adolescents (child and adolescent psychotherapy training / coaching / youth work).
You are flexible with your time.
You are fluent in spoken and written English.

What we offer:
Intended classification according to qualifications and personal requirements according to TV-L (expected E13).
