Group Leader (m/f/d) for our Outdoor Residential Group Pfaffenberg:
at LVR Youth Services Rhineland, located in Solingen


Your Responsibilities:


  • Participation in the group education service of a residential group for boys aged 12 and above
  • Educating and accompanying children through daily, weekly, and yearly routines
  • Pedagogical and organizational responsibility for daily education
  • Planning of pedagogical activities
  • Observing and promoting the development of adolescents in their individual situations
  • Creating help and education plans
  • Cooperation with schools and youth welfare offices
  • Cooperation with immigration authorities and cooperating doctors
  • Creating a positive atmosphere in the living spaces
  • Night and weekend shifts

Your Profile:


Requirements for the Position:


  • You have a degree in social pedagogy or are a staterecognized educator or have a comparable qualification

Desirable Qualifications:


  • You are responsible, openminded, and creative
  • You possess good communication skills
  • You have a high level of empathy and the ability to show appreciation and change perspectives
  • You enjoy working in a team and have good organizational skills
  • You are interested in living and shaping our pedagogical concept
  • You are able to handle the challenges of working with disadvantaged and/or traumatized children and adolescents and have the ability for selfreflection
  • Knowledge of relevant legal regulations in youth welfare law (SGB VIII) round off your profile
