    Manufacturing Operations Manager

    Reports to:
    CEO / President
    Exempt Position
    Responsibilities
    Responsible for P&L of Knight's East Canton manufacturing facility.

    Plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee manufacturing operations, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs.

    Provide leadership for Knight's manufacturing operations to develop culture and talent across the manufacturing team.
    Collaborate as member of the management team to reach overall goals for KMT.
    Apply Focused Factory, Lean and TOC concepts.
    Supervise the supply chain process to manage cost and on time delivery.
    Support implementation of the Quality Management System.
    Develop and implement capital investment projects to improve efficiency and production volumes.
    Continuous improvement and cost reduction strategies are steadily applied to eliminate waste across the organization.
    Requirements

    Preferred:
    Working experience in ceramic or refractory production industries

    Education and Experience :
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or other industry-related field required; MBA preferred.

    At least 10 years of industry-related experience including three years in upper management required with ability to understand, analyze and respond to financial reporting.

    Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
    Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Proven leadership and management of manufacturing operations
    Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.
    Teamwork oriented

    Travel:
    10-20% travel domestic and international
