    Description

    A prestigious New York law firm seeks an Assistant Managing Clerk to support attorneys across multiple departments. Responsibilities include assisting with docket management, e-fling (federal and NY State), calendaring for state and federal court cases, arbitration, and administrative proceedings.

    Compensation: $80,000-$100,000

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate on calendar reports with associates, ensuring accuracy.
    • Aid attorneys in filing (e-filing) and serving court docs.
    • Enter court papers into CourtAlert database, syncing PDFs.
    • Calculate litigation deadlines and generate calendar reports.
    • Verify docketing accuracy and maintain central court date calendar.
    • Review mail for litigation docs, add to docket.
    • Monitor federal/state court dockets, conduct searches, maintain case info.
    • Offer procedural guidance and research rule changes
    • Liaise with court clerks, assist with e-filings.
    • Assist with court admission, maintain filing database.
    • Stay updated on relevant jurisdictional developments.
    • Complete court visits for filing, document retrieval.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree required
    • At least 3 years of law firm litigation experience
    • Experience with e-filing
    • Experience with litigation docketing
    • Experience with CourtAlert and PACER
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail
    • Notary Public license is preferred.
