Location:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Hiring, supervising, training and managing payroll accountants
Overseeing the end-to-end payroll process, including data collection, timekeeping and payroll distribution
Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing payroll transactions for all employees
Collaborating with HR and Finance Departments to gather necessary information for payroll processing
Staying updated on federal, state and local payroll laws and regulations affecting the organization;
Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and other relevant payroll-related legislation
Preparing and submitting payroll tax filings and reports
Maintaining accurate and confidential payroll records for all employees
Preparing and generating payroll reports for management review
Conducting regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance
Providing guidance and support to employees on payroll matters
Collaborating with other departments to address payroll-related issues and implement improvements
Coordinating with benefits administrators to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits deductions and contributions
Collaborating with HR to implement and communicate changes in benefits packages
Conducting training sessions for employees on payroll-related matters
Staying informed about industry best practices and recommend improvements to payroll processes
Utilizing and maintaining payroll software systems for efficient and accurate payroll processing
Implementing and improving payroll-related processes and systems as needed
Performing other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Human Resources or a related field required
Master's degree in Accounting or a related field highly preferred
7 years' experience in Accounting or fiscal experience in a related field required
