    Job DescriptionPosition Title: Director of Payroll

    Position Type: Full-Time, Benefited

    Compensation: $80,0000 - $110,000 DOE

    Location: Covina, CA

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Hiring, supervising, training and managing payroll accountants
    • Overseeing the end-to-end payroll process, including data collection, timekeeping and payroll distribution
    • Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing payroll transactions for all employees
    • Collaborating with HR and Finance Departments to gather necessary information for payroll processing
    • Staying updated on federal, state and local payroll laws and regulations affecting the organization;
    • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and other relevant payroll-related legislation
    • Preparing and submitting payroll tax filings and reports
    • Maintaining accurate and confidential payroll records for all employees
    • Preparing and generating payroll reports for management review
    • Conducting regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance
    • Providing guidance and support to employees on payroll matters
    • Collaborating with other departments to address payroll-related issues and implement improvements
    • Coordinating with benefits administrators to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits deductions and contributions
    • Collaborating with HR to implement and communicate changes in benefits packages
    • Conducting training sessions for employees on payroll-related matters
    • Staying informed about industry best practices and recommend improvements to payroll processes
    • Utilizing and maintaining payroll software systems for efficient and accurate payroll processing
    • Implementing and improving payroll-related processes and systems as needed
    • Performing other duties as assigned
    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Human Resources or a related field required
    • Master's degree in Accounting or a related field highly preferred
    • 7 years' experience in Accounting or fiscal experience in a related field required
